We had a delicious dinner when we in town for Minis on the Mack last weekend. We sat outside with a view of Lake Huron. Hamburgers, French fries and onion rings were all great. Happy that Joe has yet another restaurant in St Ignace!

I was intrigued to try this place as it's set up on top of a cliff, near the other Joe businesses (Java Joe's and Jose's Cantina). I imagine during a nice summer day it would be great to sit outside on the patio but we arrived on a day when it was raining. The decor is really cool - very 50s-esq diner.

The food unfortunately just wasn't that good. I got the onion rings and the broccoli and bacon mac and cheese (added a side salad as well). The bf got the baked mac and cheese. The onion rings had too much batter for my liking. The side salad was very sad (see picture). The mac and cheese was pretty good, but overall I was still disappointed with the meal. I wouldn't come back to Joe's Diner.

My husband and I happened upon Joe's and decided to stop and have dinner. We were very pleased with our food. We had a greek salad and the cauliflower crust pizza. Service was prompt and friendly. Nice patio with a view of the lake. We would definitely go again.
